The former ambassador of the European Union in Albania, Romana Vlahutin, has reacted to the arrest of the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.
In a post on the “X” social network, she welcomes the decision to arrest Meta while stating that “there are no inviolables” before justice.
“Justice reform in all its force. There are no untouchables. This is also a great lesson for anyone who loves law and order, do not be afraid. Justice may be slow, but in the end it is served,” she writes.
Meta was arrested by order of Prosecutor’s Office by the National Bureau of Investigation agents and the civil force at the entrance of Tirana while he was moving with his vehicle in the direction of the headquarters where he had announced the conference.
