An incident between a citizen and protesters who had blocked the road was recorded at the Rrogozhina roundabout.
The citizen got out of the car and asked the protesters to make way for him, but he was chased, beaten and cursed by them as a provocateur.
“My wife is dying at home. Come with me, if I am lying, put me in jail. I have been working all day, I want the way to go home to my wife, she is sick with mental illness, she calls me and says come on. I’m not guilty, I want to open the way to go to my wife at home. I didn’s know about the protest, I was on top of the mountain all day working”, said the citizen in a statement to Euronews Albania.
6 main axes in the country will be paralyzed due to the opposition protest that started at 17:00.
Specifically, the road axes that have been blocked are “Tirana-Durrës”, near the Kamza overpass; “Durrës-Tirana”, near the Shkozeti overpass; “Kashar-Milot”, near the intersection of Milot; “Elbasan-Tirana”, at the Bradashesh roundabout; “Durrës-Fier”, at the roundabout of Rrogozhina and “Levan-Tepelen”, at the roundabout of Levan.
