5,900 residents of Bubulima in Lushnja will receive health services in the center that is being reconstructed within November. The investments in the building were made from the funds of the Lushnje municipality, while the equipment will be provided by the Ministry of Health.

The progress of the works was inspected by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, and by the Mayor of Lushnja, Eriselda Sefa.

“Communities can receive more services according to their needs and municipalities are able to provide services directly to those who need them the most and municipalities themselves have a greater say in the provision of services in the specific case of health,” said Albana Koçiu, Minister of Health and Social Protection.

Kociu noted that investments in health centers will continue.

“340 health centers have been reconstructed so far with modern infrastructure and 60 are being completed. Meanwhile, another 100 centers will be launched with the draft budget of 2025-2026, thus completing the entire cycle of health centers or primary health care at the service of citizens near the place of residence,” said Albana Koçiu, Minister of Health and Social Protection.

In a conversation with the staff of the Bubullimë Health Center, the ministry pointed out that the priority is to provide services in the home for those who cannot physically come to the health center.
