The Court of Elbasan imposed an obligation to appear for the three opposition protesters arrested by the police on Tuesday evening.

The three oppositionists Edi Pojani, Hamza Lamçja and Arben Pjetri were arrested for the criminal offenses of “Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations”, “Obstructing the circulation of means of transport” and “Disobeying the order of a public order police officer”.

Elbasan judge Yrfet Shkreli upheld the measure requested by prosecutor Gjergji Ceka.

In the session which took place behind closed doors, the high participation of police officers and exponents of the Democratic Party in Elbasan was noticed.
