To demand justice and the restoration of order in the northern capital, the Democratic Party will organize a solidarity protest in the city of Shkodra on Saturday.
In the conference with journalists, Sali Berisha, after offering condolences to the families of the three victims of the massacre in Shkodra, emphasized that the protest will be with the message that citizens are not defeated in the face of crime.
“As a sign of solidarity with the citizens of Shkodra, I invite all the opposition, wherever they are, on Saturday at 12:00 in Shkodra, solidarity with the citizens of this country, with this blessed citizen, as evidence that we will never accept that the crime to defeat Shkodra and the people of Shkodra. In this protest, civil disobedience, we say no to the violence of Edi Rama’s mafia”, said the leader of the DP.
During this media appearance, Berisha also commented on the invitation of the Speaker of the Assembly to return to dialogue with the opposition, stressing that by imprisoning the leaders of the opposition, Rama shows that he has other will.
“Those who think they can pass these acts are doing nothing but justifying a dictatorship and we are simply in our resistance. So what kind of dialogue Edi Rama is looking for, I believe he clearly demonstrates with the imprisonment of the main leaders of the opposition. What I regret, the ambassador was invited today, and I can’t help but say it, to submit the report of the European Commission on the day when the parliament was in plenary session. I remind the honorable gentleman that this never happened. The reports have been submitted to the parliament headquarters, but Mrs. Spiropali organized this trap,” said Berisha.
