Prime Minister Rama’s visit to Thessaloniki and the meeting he held with the Albanians living in this region of Greece was not well received by a group of Greek extremists, who protested in the streets in front of the place where the event took place.
The media in the neighboring country have made an echo of Rama’s meeting, the strict measures that were taken to guarantee his success, but also of the protest that some militants of extreme right groups in Greece have developed.
The protesters who stood on the road that the Albanian Prime Minister’s escort traveled chanted slogans “Rama is out of Greece” and “Katsifa is alive, you lead us”, while they left flyers with the photo of the Greek from Vorio-Epis, where it was said that he had been killed from the Albanian state.
In addition, during this visit to Greece, Prime Minister Rama was greeted with protests by several dozen opposition militants who stood at the entrance to the hall where the meeting took place.
