The Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets has taken over the administration of 102 containers with dangerous substances, which were returned to Albania through the “Moliva” ship.
According to AAPSK, this process was carried out through a detailed plan of measures, in accordance with the order of the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for the landing and storage of containers in a safe place, away from residential areas and with strict respect for physical, environmental and health.
A number of institutions were involved in this operation, where, in addition to AAPSK employees, the Local Directorate of the Durrës Police, the Border and Migration Directorate, the Durrës Port Authority, the Captaincy of the Port of Durrës, the Durrës Customs, the Directorate of Customs Investigation and Durrës Prosecutor’s Office.

After unloading, the containers were transported to the final destination, in the Porto Romano area, for storage and administration by the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets, being kept under constant monitoring.
AAPSK emphasizes that every action has been documented and the containers have been scanned, checked and verified to ensure that they are intact and in compliance with safety standards.
