The European Union has said that it is aware of the concerns of the Albanians in the south of Serbia regarding the passivation of their addresses, and has again called on the official Belgrade to clarify this issue, the spokeswoman for enlargement in the European Commission, Ana Pisonero, said on Thursday.
During this week, the Constitutional Court of Serbia rejected the appeal of an Albanian resident from Medveja for the return of his address, inciting reactions.
Pisonero did not want to comment on the decisions of the Serbian judiciary on the cases of the passivation of addresses of Albanians, but repeated the concern that the EU had expressed in the Progress Report for Serbia last month.
