In the month of October, Albania welcomed 1.4 million Albanian citizens and foreigners, marking an increase of 11% compared to the same month last year.

Of this number, 762 thousand visitors were foreigners, who mainly visited the country for tourism purposes, helped by relatively high temperatures and sunny days.

The data shows that for the first 10 months of the year, Albania has welcomed 10.4 million visitors, which represents an increase of 16% compared to 2023, while the government expects the year to end with 13 million arrivals.

According to statistics, 94% of foreign national arrivals come from the European region, followed by America and East Asia.

More than 740 thousand visitors declared that the motive of entering Albania was vacation, 32 thousand transited to another country, while another 20 thousand came for business purposes.
