Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a meeting for the consultation on the banning of Tik Tok, has revealed what will be done concretely for security in schools. Rama said that the agreement with the United Emirates for a monitoring system in schools is expected to be made at the end of December, and according to him, when this project is implemented, we will have digital camera monitoring of the learning process and school facilities.

Rama also said that the digital controller will be installed at all entrances and exits of the schools, which signals the presence of metal tools and phones in students’ bags or clothing.

“The project that we started for almost a year that we are finalizing now and by the end of December they will sign the agreement for a school monitoring system with technology and we will have financial assistance from the United Emirates.

This system tested and proven in the United Emirates with exceptional results and which enables real-time monitoring with cameras of the entire learning process and life within the walls of the school yard and any parent at any time can have access to see the child, the class, the learning activity simply by making a request to the school and any kind of situation outside of learning discipline is recorded. The results of that system are derived from a follow-up that has been done there of the work of the system and the changes it has brought about.

We will also place a digital controller at the entrances and exits of the schools for metal tools, phones or any other kind of things that children can take with them.
