On the Day of the Flag and the proclamation of Albania, the world-famous Albanian artist, Dua Lipa, did not forget to make a heartfelt wish.

Through a post on Instastory, accompanied by the image of two proud eagles and the verses of the National Anthem, Dua Lipa wished all Albanians a happy holiday.

“Around the flag united with one desire and one purpose, all swearing to it to pledge allegiance for salvation. Only he who was born a traitor leaves the war, he who is a man does not freeze, he is dying, he is dying as a martyr”.

A congratulations for this great day for Albanians has also come from the internationally famous music star from Kosovo, Rita Ora.

The artist has posted a video from her performance in Albania, as she is seen dressed in red and black on stage and writes “Happy Independence Day Albania”.

Today, Albania celebrates 112 years of Independence. Raising the Flag in Vlora is an annual ceremony since November 28, 1912, where Ismail Qemali and his delegates first proclaimed the Independence of Albania. Meanwhile, a parade will be held in Tirana for about 3 hours, from all parts of Albania.
