The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that Belgrade is ready to cooperate in carrying out an investigation with all international organizations and institutions regarding the explosion in the Ibër-Lepenci water channel, in Zubin Potok, Kosovo.

“If the explosion was carried out by someone who is of Serbian nationality, and he is in the territory under which Serbia has effective control, he will be stopped and arrested. Until now, we do not have such information”, Vučić told reporters in Belgrade.

He said that Serbia is ready to cooperate in accordance with the Brussels Agreement and in some ways also with the institutions in Pristina, without jeopardizing the sovereignty and independence of Serbia.

Vučić said that the least important thing is who the perpetrator is, and the most important thing is who is behind the explosion, rejecting the possibility that Russia is behind it.

The explosion occurred on November 29 in the village of Varragë in the municipality of Zubin-Potoku, a municipality with a Serbian majority in the north of the country.

The Kosovo Police said that the attack was carried out with explosives weighing up to 20 kilograms.

On the other hand, the authorities in Kosovo have blamed Serbia for the attack, but Belgrade has denied involvement in it.

The attack in Zubin Potok has been strongly condemned by the international factor.
