This Thursday, December 26, marks the deadline for immigrants from Kosovo to register in the general parliamentary elections. The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, announced the news through a video message on the Facebook social network, calling on those who have not registered to register.
“Dear Migrant, I thank all of you who have registered to vote from abroad at our embassies and consulates and through the mail. The deadline is tonight at 23:59. Therefore, those of you who have not yet registered, register and take advantage of the facilities we have made for you to be part of our choices and joint decisions. It has never been easier and simpler. I know you are busy with work and obligations. But, I promise you that the procedure will not take more than 4 minutes of your time. 4 minutes of your valuable time for 4 years, crucial for Kosovo, for the progress and security of our state”, said Kurti.
The Prime Minister of the country said that without registration there is no voting.
“You who have registered, contact your friends and family and since you already know how to register, help them to register successfully. Without registration, there is no voting. Register online on the CEC platform to vote from abroad for the February 2025 elections. Your vote is a democratic right and an irreplaceable service for our country,” said Kurti.
Otherwise, the regular parliamentary elections will be held on February 9, 2024.
