In the Kakavija customs during the last 24 hours, due to the Christmas celebrations, a low flow of movement at the border was recorded compared to the previous days.

According to the Border Police in Gjirokastra, 8,448 citizens have crossed the entry-exit border, of which 6,948 entered and 1,500 exited, as well as 2,458 vehicles entered and exited, of which 1,977 entered and 481 exited.

On Thursday, during the movement at the border, there were no waiting lines. It is expected that the traffic flow in Kakavija will increase again during the weekend. During these holidays, around 55,000 people moved on both sides of the border through Kakavija customs.
