King Charles III of the United Kingdom has congratulated the people of the Republic of Kosovo on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of independence.

In his letter addressed to President Vjosa Osmani, King Charles III emphasized the strong ties between the two countries and expressed his hope for further strengthening of their friendship.

“Honorable Madam President,

My wife and I are delighted to extend to Your Excellency and the people of the Republic of Kosovo our warmest congratulations on your national day.

I am very pleased that our countries share such strong bonds, and I look forward to further strengthening our friendship.

It is my strong hope and ambition that our countries can collaborate to make a positive impact on climate change and environmental issues, which affect us all globally.

My wife and I take great pleasure in sending our best wishes to you and all Kosovars in the year ahead.”
