Kenya has officially recognized the Republic of Kosovo, prompting a heartfelt reaction from Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Kurti expressed special gratitude to Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani and former President Behgjet Pacolli for their roles in achieving this diplomatic milestone. He also extended his deep appreciation to Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto, calling the recognition a historic step toward stronger bilateral ties.

“The recognition of the Republic of Kosovo by the state of Kenya brings joy to us all and is truly great news for our Republic.
I thank our President Vjosa Osmani and former President Behgjet Pacolli for their roles, as well as all those who contributed to this achievement.
My sincere gratitude to the President of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, for making this historic decision, a step forward in bringing Kenya closer to the Republic of Kosovo and opening the path for the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries.
