Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who is also the leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), has congratulated his Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama, on his victory in the May 11 elections.

In a post on social media platform X, Sánchez wrote:

“Congratulations, Edi Rama, on the decisive victory of the Socialist Party in the elections. The Albanian people overwhelmingly support the efforts for Albania to join the European Union. Well done.”
