This July Sunday marked one of the busiest days for arrivals at the Port of Vlora. According to official data, 599 passengers arrived yesterday, most of whom are Albanian citizens living in Italy who have chosen to spend their holidays in their homeland, mainly along the Vlora coastline.

In addition to them, a considerable number of foreign tourists also disembarked in the city, confirming the positive trend of tourism this summer season.

Alongside the passengers, a substantial volume of vehicles entered as well, including:

  • 120 cars,
  • 1 trailer cart,
  • 5 campers,
  • 2 minibuses,
  • 4 buses,
  • 10 trucks,
  • 1 van,
  • 2 motorcycles.

This influx not only highlights the importance of the Port of Vlora as a strategic entry point to the south of the country, but also reflects the growing interest of emigrants and tourists in spending their summer holidays in Albania.

The month of July is expected to set new records, turning Vlora into one of the most visited destinations this summer.
