The Acting Government Spokesperson, Përparim Kryeziu, has reacted following the United States’ decision to suspend the strategic dialogue with Kosovo.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Kryeziu stated that the government has fully fulfilled its mandate for the first time since the declaration of independence, contributing to institutional stability and socio-economic development despite global challenges such as the pandemic, the energy crisis, and the war in Ukraine. He added that the government’s actions have always been lawful and constitutional, aiming to eliminate sources of instability and strengthen the rule of law, particularly in the north.
Kryeziu emphasized that Kosovo has depoliticized the integration of the Serb community by protecting citizens from Serbia’s illegal structures and offering concrete measures such as employment opportunities and recognition of diplomas from the University of North Mitrovica.
Regarding criticisms of the Constitutional Court, he said that the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has made his stance clear, accusing the Court of delays in decision-making and undermining the democratic character of the Republic.
