In an interview with a British radio outlet, published this Sunday, Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke about Diella.

Rama stated that she—being a minister—is, of course, his responsibility, while explaining why he took this step.

He said that the country needs to make up for lost time over the decades, and according to him, Diella has great potential to perform better than anyone.

“First of all, I don’t know if you can tell whether it’s really me or an AI version of me, but as long as it speaks from the Prime Minister’s channel, it is my responsibility. But yes, we decided to take this big step because we want to accelerate our reforms—reforms aimed at structural modernization. New technology and artificial intelligence are a blessing for countries like ours. We must recover the decades we have lost. She has tremendous potential to perform better than all of us. Diella, which in Albanian means sun, is practically a sun that never sets. She doesn’t sleep, doesn’t get tired, and has no personal interests. She has no cousins—and that is a big problem in our country. She doesn’t change her mind and doesn’t care if she gets fired,” Rama said.
