The Supreme Court has decided not to accept the second appeal filed by Erion Veliaj, according to the ruling issued this Thursday.

Through judge Albana Boksi, the Supreme Court confirmed the security measure of imprisonment.

This decision follows the review of the complaint against ruling no. 130, dated June 9, 2025, of the Court of Appeals for Corruption and Organized Crime.

With this ruling, the Supreme Court upholds the previous stance of the Appeals Court, refusing to change the security measure to a more lenient form.
