The organizations of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) War have announced that on November 16 they will hold a protest in front of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

The head of the KLA War Veterans Organization, Hysni Gucati, stated that the protest will begin at 1:00 PM.

“The associations that emerged from the war have decided that the next protest will be organized on November 16, in front of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg,” Gucati declared during a press conference.

This will be the third such gathering in support of former KLA leaders who are facing international justice. On October 17, a large protest took place in Tirana where thousands of citizens demanded justice for the former KLA leaders, while a similar demonstration was held in The Hague on September 14.

Currently, the judicial process continues at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against former president Hashim Thaçi, former parliamentary speakers Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, and former MP Rexhep Selimi. All four have been charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity — charges they have completely denied.
