Albania wins 1–0 in Andorra and secures the 2026 World Cup Play-Off

The Albanian national team won 1–0 in Andorra in the penultimate match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, securing second place which leads to the Play-Off, helped also by England’s 2–0 victory against Serbia.

This is a historic achievement for the Albanian national team under coach Sylvinho.

The first half ended 0–0, while in the second half Albania significantly improved its performance.

In the 67th minute, Myrto Uzuni made an incursion down the right and delivered a brilliant assist to Kristjan Asllani, who scored the winning goal for the Red and Blacks.
