The Kosovo national team has learned its opponent for the 2026 World Cup qualification Play-Off, marking another historic moment for Kosovan football.

After an impressive qualifying campaign, in which the Dardanians finished second in their group with 11 points – just three behind Switzerland – Kosovo secured Play-Off participation for the first time ever.

The draw has determined that Kosovo will face Slovakia in the semifinal match, which will be played away from home.
The semifinal clash is scheduled for March 26, while the decisive final for a World Cup ticket is set for March 31, 2026.
