The National Theatre of Opera, Ballet and the Folk Ensemble welcomed to Albania for the first time Czech Boys – Boni Pueri, the world-renowned boys’ choir from the Czech Republic, who delivered an extraordinary performance with 35 pure and moving voices.

Under the direction of maestro Pavel Horák and accompanied on piano by Vartan Agopian, the concert turned into a special artistic evening that enriched the Albanian stage with a valuable tradition of international choral art.

What made the evening even more impressive was the fact that the Czech children performed and presented part of their program in the Albanian language, creating a sincere and special connection with the Albanian audience. The Albanian interpretations, delivered with care and warmth, were met with long applause from those present.

Their program included works from both the classical and contemporary choral repertoire, performed with the professionalism and vocal purity that characterize this internationally acclaimed ensemble. This evening marked an absolute premiere in Albania, as it was the first time that Boni Pueri performed on the stage of the National Theatre of Opera, Ballet and the Folk Ensemble.

The concert was met with great enthusiasm and was considered one of the most special moments of the artistic season, offering the Albanian public a rare musical and cultural experience.
