The Special Envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump for special missions, Richard Grenell, reacted via a post on X regarding Prime Minister Edi Rama’s visit to The Hague.

Grenell wrote that Rama is right and that an injustice is being committed against former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi. According to him, Jack Smith is a disgrace, while reiterating that Rama is right.

“A NATO ally and the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, rejects Jack Smith’s legal case against former President Thaçi in The Hague — and shames Europeans for allowing this injustice to continue. Jack Smith is a disgrace. Rama is right,” he wrote.

Rama traveled to The Hague on Thursday, where he met former President Hashim Thaçi, who has been held in detention for five years together with other former leaders of the KLA, charged with war crimes.

In a post on social media, accompanied by a photo showing him leaving the Hague Court, Rama described it as a building where the theater of shame of international justice is being played with Hashim Thaçi.
