The leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Monika Kryemadhi, spoke on the studio of Ilva Now over the reasons behind why a joint party list with opposition forces failed to materialize in several districts.

Kryemadhi said that the practice will be implemented in the district of Kuksi only which has 3 mandates, meanwhile they prefer separate lists for Gjirokastra and Dibra.

“For Kuksi, although the Electoral Code does not allow coming under a single list for a district, we urged our supporters there to vote for DP’s candidates, even though we have our own candidates”, declared SMI’s leader.

“Whereas in the case of Gjirokastra and Dibra, if these districts would have 5 mandates, of course, we would go under one list to maximize the result. Gjirokastra has 4 mandates, so racing separately might bring its own surprise”, added Kryemadhi.
