Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku took part on Thursday in a meeting of the Joint Executive Committee. Balluku noted that the meeting was held within the framework of cooperation between the Albanian government and the United Nations.
In a post on Facebook, the minister shared images from the meeting and emphasized the continued commitment to strengthening human capital, promoting sustainable growth, and consolidating democratic institutions. She added that work is continuing with UN partners toward a stronger Albania that is closer to the European Union.
“Today we held the meeting of the Joint Executive Committee for the cooperation framework between the Government of Albania and the United Nations, where the implementation of the 2022–2026 cooperation framework and the results achieved so far were assessed.
As we enter the final year of the current program and begin preparations for the new 2027–2031 framework, we remain committed to advancing cooperation that strengthens human capital, fosters sustainable growth, and consolidates democratic institutions.
The Government of Albania and UN partners will continue their joint work toward a more modern, stronger Albania that is closer to the European Union,” Balluku wrote on Facebook.
