The Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania has three vacant positions, for which 20 candidates have expressed interest.
The filling of these positions will go through Parliament, which has accepted the applications, while members of the parliamentary Committee on Economy will begin hearings with the interested candidates on Monday, February 2.
Euronews Albania has learned that among the candidates are the three current members whose mandates have expired: Luljeta Minxhozi, Violeta Staka, and Artan Hoxha.
Those who have also expressed interest include former Deputy Minister of Finance Erjona Bejleri, Professor Selami Xhepa, Frosela Filo, Fatmira Kola, Ingrid Konomi, Merita Bejtja, Emis Çerava, Adela Karapici, Matilda Shehu, Arben Zibri, Eni Xheko, Pajtim Melani, Sajmir Murataj, Liljana Mamadhaj, Elton Korbi, Aleksander Çavo, and former President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj.
