Following the conclusion of the speech by Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, protesters attempted to remove the metal barrier, while police officers responded by using water cannons. Protesters also threw Molotov cocktails and flares toward the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the tensions, police called for children to be moved away from the gathering. After several moments of clashes, the situation calmed down. Protesters dispersed along the boulevard and are currently remaining there without attempting to cause further disturbances.
