The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, held a meeting in Tirana with Mark Tervakoski, Director for Europe and Asia at the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, as well as with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Albania, Nancy VanHorn.

During the meeting, the strategic partnership between Albania and the United States as NATO allies was reaffirmed.

Discussions focused on cooperation in strengthening the rule of law, combating organized crime and corruption, and supporting sustainable economic development.
