On February 11, 2026, the President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Fiona Papajorgji, received in a courtesy meeting His Excellency Nicholas Abbott, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Albania, who was accompanied by Mr. John Walker, Second Secretary for Political, Internal and Justice Affairs.

Ambassador Abbott underlined the importance of the Constitutional Court’s engagement in strengthening the rule of law and expressed full support for initiatives that ensure institutional independence.
