Your Excellency,
On behalf of the State of Israel and its citizens, I have the honor to extend my warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of your Independence. In Jewish tradition, the number 18 represents “life” and is regarded as a strong and positive omen.
In the five years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, we have succeeded in building a strong and enduring bond. We are grateful that your country chose to open its embassy in Jerusalem, a courageous decision that reflects your commitment to the State of Israel and its people.
Our bond has deepened further following the brutal attack of October 7 and its aftermath. Although these years have been filled with pain, sorrow, and hardship, we have nevertheless managed to strengthen our bilateral relations. I am confident that our partnership will continue to grow in the years ahead.
Once again, on this day of pride and celebration, please accept my best wishes and sincere hopes for a year of peace and prosperity for the State of Kosovo and its people.
Sincerely,
Isaac Herzog
President of the State of Israel
