The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media outside the premises of Parliament, was asked about the protest scheduled to take place tomorrow, Friday, February 20. Berisha was questioned about the protest scenarios and whether he would remain in the square.

He did not provide details, stating that the protest scenario is “the greatest mystery.” The Democratic Party leader also called on citizens to join the protest.

“Edi Rama is taking all powers. The law he has submitted to Parliament is in the most flagrant violation of the Constitution. The law is a shield for Edi Rama and the organization he leads to steal while escaping accountability and placing themselves above the law.

From today onwards, Albanians will be robbed every day by a group that treats them without mercy. They will have the law as their shield. They are using power as if they were the most ruthless occupiers of Albanians. I call on Albanians to speak their words with epic courage tomorrow at 18:00 in the streets and squares of Tirana.

Only the determination of the citizens will bring this criminal organization before the law. It will protect their future from a hostile gang like this. When they are with foreigners, they sew their mouths shut and say not a single word,” Berisha said.
