U.S. President Donald Trump greeted all participants at the Peace Board, including Prime Minister Edi Rama, and said that Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani is doing a very good job.
“The Peace Board includes highly respected leaders. We are honored to be joined by Prime Minister Rama, the Prime Minister of Albania, the President of Argentina, my ally whom I supported during the elections. I now support foreign leaders, including Viktor Orban, who is here,” Trump said.
Among the countries he thanked in his remarks, Trump mentioned Albania and Kosovo.
In his opening speech, Trump emphasized that the leaders participating in this first meeting are among the world’s greatest leaders. He said the board was created to build peace and that several long-standing conflicts have been brought to an end.
“We are responsible together with the people who are here. Some wars that lasted 30 to 32 years, we have managed to end. We have a lot of work to do, and we continue to do good work. We have the best team we have ever had. It is a great pleasure to invite friends from all over the world. This is one of the most significant boards ever created. These are the world’s greatest leaders. We have invited many people, but not some whom we believe have caused problems. This board was established for peace,” he declared.
