In Gjirokastër, cultural and artistic activities were organized for the March 7–8 celebrations. Children from the Cultural Center “Fato Berberi”, together with kindergarten children, held artistic activities titled “Happy March 7–8”, sending their greetings to teachers and mothers.

Through songs, dances, instrumental melodies, paintings, and other artistic works, the children showcased their talents in different fields of art.

“Today we sang, recited poems, performed polyphonic songs, and had a lot of fun celebrating Teacher’s Day and Mother’s Day. I wish all teachers a happy March 7–8. My teacher is the best in the world, and so are all the other teachers,” said one student.

“I think there could not be a more beautiful greeting for teachers on this symbolic day. The wishes came so beautifully from the voices of all the children. I wish all teachers, mothers, and our sisters a happy celebration: Happy March 7–8,” said Arlisa Gushi, an art instructor.

Artistic activities for the March 7–8 celebrations were held in all schools and educational institutions in the Gjirokastër region.
