The Albanian Parliament will vote tomorrow on a resolution “On declaring the Islamic Republic of Iran a State Sponsor of Terrorism and a State that uses terrorist means.”
One hour before the plenary session, at 9:00 a.m., the Conference of Chairpersons will convene to include the resolution in the agenda of parliamentary proceedings. The resolution is expected to be voted on the same day.
The news about the resolution declaring the Islamic Republic of Iran a “State Sponsor of Terrorism” was announced on March 13, 2026, when deputies from the Socialist majority submitted the draft resolution to Parliament for review and voting.
The draft document was officially introduced as an initiative of the Socialist Party and aims to declare Iran a state that sponsors terrorism and uses terrorist means, based on international reports and actions that, according to the deputies, have harmed international security.
