Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar, reacted this Tuesday following the Albanian Parliament’s vote on a resolution declaring Iran a state sponsor of terrorism.

In his statement, the Foreign Minister welcomed the resolution, praising Albania for its support.

Statement from Israel’s Foreign Minister:

“I congratulate Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Albanian Parliament for the historic resolution adopted today, which declares the Islamic Republic of Iran a state sponsor of terrorism. As stated in the resolution: Terrorism in all its forms constitutes one of the most serious threats to democratic societies. This is another clear demonstration of the moral dimension in Albania’s foreign policy.”
