In an exclusive interview for “Now” with Thimi Samarxhi, Israel’s ambassador to Tirana, Galit Peleg, also addressed the resolution adopted by the Albanian Parliament declaring Iran a state sponsor of terrorism, describing it as a strong message for regional security and the prevention of terrorism.

“Regarding the parliamentary resolution, without wanting to interfere in Albania’s internal political matters, I must say that it was a very important resolution, and I would like to thank the Albanian state. I would also like the Albanian Parliament to adopt similar resolutions concerning Hezbollah and other similar movements, in order to prevent terrorists from reaching your country. Regardless of how it was adopted, due to political issues, I have seen members of the opposition support this resolution, and I thank the entire political class, as it sends a strong message to Iran and its allies. Albania must not allow terrorist organizations to operate; therefore, it was a very powerful message,” she said.
