Transparency Board Publishes New Fuel Prices: Diesel at 190 Lek and Gasoline at 179 Lek

The Transparency Board, during its next meeting held this Wednesday, revised fuel prices. According to the announcement, the retail selling price of diesel fuel (gasoil) under the SSH EN 590 standard will be no more than 190 lek per liter. The wholesale selling price must not exceed 178 lek per liter.

The retail selling price of gasoline under the SSH EN standard will be no more than 179 lek per liter, while the wholesale price must not exceed 167 lek per liter.

The prices set by the Board entered into force today at 1:30 PM and will remain valid until the Board’s next meeting, where any changes in selling prices will be reflected.

The Transparency Board also drew the attention of all wholesale and retail operators of petroleum products to their obligation to implement this decision. The announcement emphasized that, in cases of violations identified among different operators, suspension of business activity will be imposed.
