Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Katherina Reiche, during his visit to Berlin at the invitation of the German business community.
In a post on social media, Rama said that discussions focused on further strengthening the economic partnership between Albania and Germany, as well as the European Union’s perspective toward the Western Balkans.
According to the Prime Minister, the meeting also addressed the EU’s approach to the region as a new investment horizon for European businesses, at a time when Western Balkan countries are seeking deeper economic integration and closer alignment with the European market.
Rama’s visit to Berlin is taking place within the framework of meetings with representatives of the German business community and federal institutions, with a focus on expanding economic cooperation and encouraging investment in Albania.
