Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was today in Shijak, a town located between Tirana and Durres, where he met with families that just entered their newly restored homes following the destructive quake that struck the country on November 26, 2019.
The prime minister emphasized that almost all individual homes have been restored and now it is time to continue with the construction of the buildings and the new neighborhood.
“What matters is that it’s done and we feel relieved because in Shijak the reconstruction of individual homes is concluding”, said PM Rama.
Accompanying the prime minister during the visit in Shijak was also the Minister of State for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj.
