The Acapella concert under the direction of the conductor Trimor Dhomi has brought special emotions to the Korça art-loving public, but also to the many tourists who have chosen Korça to rest in the last days of 2023.

The best singers of the city of Korça, without any instrument, based only on their vocals, have brought some of the most popular Albanian songs in a completely unique form.

For the Kosovar conductor, the entire chosen repertoire was difficult, but the “Aria e Korça” choir executed them masterfully.

“All the new material this year has been very difficult and professional, most in the choir don’t read notes, the last song was done with an original arrangement as you saw. This was choir’s biggest challenge, but I think they succeeded. To make a way for fun comes, but to come for each of them is inspiring. Artistically, it was one of the most difficult”, says the conductor.

The emotions have been great for the young singer Flavia Zere.

“It was my rare time to go on stage with something like this, as I enjoy light music, jazz, blues. But it was something different. I got what I wanted and Professor Trimori gave us something we didn’t know, a completely different experience,” she says.

The “Andon Zako Çajupi” theater hall in Korçë has been overflowing with spectators while artistic and cultural events have been held every day of December, activities that will be held until the first days of 2024.
