Tomorrow, Prime Minister Edi Rama will hold a meeting with fellow Albanians in Greece.
According to sources from the media in Athens, the Greek Police is taking very strict security measures for tomorrow’s visit of Rama to Athens, which will start after his arrival in “El. Venizelos” at 8.30-9.00 in the morning.
Hundreds of police officers (MAT, EKAM, OPKE, DIAS, Security, Traffic) will be available to ensure the smooth passage of Rama to the place where the speech will take place and to protect him until the moment of departure.
It is also announced that Rama will be accompanied by approximately 150 people. In this escort will be members of his cabinet, deputies and 50 journalists, who will go directly to the closed Christmas Theater of Galatsi. There, two rooms have been prepared for Rama and his associates.
His speech at the Christmas Theater will be held around 11:00, but Edi Rama will also hold meetings with compatriots, members of his party and businessmen during the day, as well as he is expected to distribute brochures on bilateral relations.
After the meetings, Rama will drink coffee with his colleagues in Galatsi, while at 6.00-7.00 in the afternoon he will go to the airport to leave Athens.
Rama has also made a post on his personal Facebook account, where he invites Albanians who are in Athens or near Athens to participate in the rally he will hold in Galatsi.
In his post, Rama talks about an “important moment of pride for all Albanians in Greece”.
The invitation is accompanied by a visual with the Acropolis and the flags of Albania and Greece.
