In the morning of the work organized by the Albanian presidency with the member countries of the USA-Adriatic Charter (A-5), the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, emphasized that Albania remains determined to promote peace, encourage dialogue and increase cooperation in the Western Balkans.
“We also stand as strong advocates for the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of the Western Balkans”, said Minister Hasani.
For Albania, as the chairman of the Adriatic Charter, the implementation of the open door policy remains a key priority.
“A positive response to Kosovo’s long-standing request for membership is a crucial and overdue step that must be resolved as soon as possible,” he said.
The member and observer countries of the US-Adriatic Charter, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the USA, Kosovo (observer), Serbia (observer) and Slovenia (invited) participated in the meeting.
