Two days after the fatal accident of a 17-year-old, the health condition of the former mayor of Himara, Vasil Bollano, has worsened. Currently, Bollano is in Vlora Hospital.

The 66-year-old suffers from leukemia and diabetes and arrived at the hospital with high hypertension and high diabetes values. Even before, he had heart problems which became critical after the accident. Today, it is expected that the security measure “Arrest with prison” will be communicated to Bollano at 13:30 on the premises of the Vlora Hospital.

The former mayor of Himara, Vasil Bollano, was arrested yesterday by the police, after causing the death of 17-year-old Elio Hamiti. The serious event happened two days ago at around 17:00, as Bollano was driving the vehicle on the Orikum-Llogara road axis, near the sports field, hit the minor, a resident of Dukat, who was walking.
