Mother and son, Rozeta Dobi and Javier Dobi have been left in prison, after being accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of euros, dollars, and a considerable number of golden accessories in the apartment of the former high official, Alda Klosi.

Mother and son did not give any statement to judge Arben Micku who led the court session this morning. 

The prosecutor of the case, Mirela Zavalani, has pressed charges against the mother and son only for the value of 120 thousand euros found in Klosi’s house and not for the money that was found hidden in their private residence.

Therefore, Zavalani has not filed any other charges for the 400,000 euros found hidden in the ventilation tubes of Rozeta Dobi’s home. The session started today at 10:30 AM.

Meanwhile, Alda Klosi used to serve as a high government official, and the theft in her apartment, where she lived with her daughter, took place on December 15, 2022.

Yesterday, in the apartment where Dobi lived with her husband and son, around 405 thousand euros, 8500 dollars, and gold accessories were found after the police executed a warrant and a thorough search. These items are suspected of having been stolen from Klosi’s apartment or other homes where Dobi worked as a sanitary worker.

Police services found the money and gold accessories hidden in the suction pipes of the home’s ventilation system. Mother and son were arrested two days ago, suspected of stealing an amount of around 120,000 euros along with other valuables, in Klosi’s apartment, where the woman worked as a sanitary worker.

In total, the amount stolen by Rozeta Dobi is about 540 thousand euros, while Klosi claims that only 30 thousand euros were stolen from her apartment.
