“Agnes of God” comes to Tirana, shocking drama is presented at the University of Arts

Laura Nezha, Eni Jani and Violeta Trebicka brought last night to the hall of the University of Arts, the theatrical performance “Agnesa of God”.

Under the direction of the well-known Kiço Londo, the actors interpreted the unpredictable myth of the mother and human nature.

Drama is a thought provoking work. She questions legal, psychiatric, religious and existential certainties, exposing moral ambiguities, using wildly hilarious, dramatic dialogue that is full of humor and wit.

Agnes of God is a 1979 drama by American playwright John Pielmeier, which tells the story of a young nun (played by Laura Nezha) who gives birth to a child in a convent and insists that the baby was the result of a virgin conception.

After the child is found dead, a psychiatrist (played by Eni Jani) and the mother superior of the assembly (played by Violeta Trebicka) fight during the investigation to clarify the incident.

The drama “Agnes of God”, which has received a number of awards and has been shown in almost all countries of the world, will continue to be played on November 6 and 7 in the hall of the University of Arts in Tirana.
