Prime Minister Edi Rama answered the question of Euronews Albania journalist Eksiola Shehu regarding the possibility of an agreement between Albania and Italy on water supply.
Rama said that the idea of transporting water from the south of Albania to Italy is an old idea since World War II and there is no agreement yet.
“There is no project, they are all ideas. The idea of water is an idea that dates back to before World War II and has been promoted by all Italian governments, but nothing concrete has been done. It depends on the will of the Italian government because it is a big project that Albania cannot realize. We will have a second meeting of the joint investment committee in Rome and we will see if it will go further”, said Rama.
