Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared a message on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Albania’s membership in NATO. Through a post on Twitter, Rama thanks the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken for the message to Albania on this special day.

The Prime Minister states that “we are honored to stand side by side with our allies, primarily the United States, as we continue to adapt and strengthen our cooperation in the face of emerging global challenges”.

This 15th anniversary of Albania’s membership in NATO is not only a celebration of our past achievements, but also a reaffirmation of our unwavering commitment to the principles and values ​​that underpin our Alliance. Over the past 15 years, Albania has proudly contributed to NATO’s collective defense and security, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to support peace and democratic values ​​throughout our region and beyond. We are honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies, first and foremost the United States, as we continue to adapt and strengthen our cooperation in the face of evolving global challenges.
